Department: Commercial Property – Banking Team
Location: Edinburgh
Working hours: Whilst this role is ideally 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (35 hours per week) we are open to considering flexible or part time working to suit the requirements of the business.

Your responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal, or Solicitor to join our forward-thinking and dynamic Banking team. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to a diverse client base of banks, lenders and borrowers. The role involves acting on either the lender or borrower side in relation to banking, property finance and secured lending transactions, examining and reporting on title, preparing and negotiating loan and security documentation, co-ordinating the drawdown of loan funds, redemption of existing loans and security, completion of lending transactions, registration of security and generally supporting the wider Banking team, as well as taking part in business development opportunities.
Prior property/title examination experience is essential to the role. Training will be provided on all other elements.
This role is preferably office based however, depending on experience, flexible WFH/hybrid arrangements will be considered.
