We are seeking a passionate, motivated and innovative Classroom Teacher with SEND experience to join us at Linden Bridge School. We are looking for an inspirational teacher with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment and meet Teacher Standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a nurturing learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver a progressive, sequential curriculum using an individualised approach based on students' need profiles.
  • Work creatively as part of a multi‑professional team.
  • Teach and support communication skills, helping pupils express their needs, preferences, feelings, worries, and opinions through verbal language or autism‑specific strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in understanding learning styles of pupils with autism or communication difficulties.
  • Experience in supporting pupils in social communication and emotional regulation.
  • A creative approach to enable access to the curriculum for all learners.

Professional development support will include induction and training in SEND, TEACHH, Behaviour for Learning, Attention Autism, and Zones of Regulation.
