The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

In this role, you will ensure the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the vehicle allocated. You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheets for the vehicle and any specialised equipment that you may need to use as part of your daily work. If necessary, operate special BOC equipment such as a forklift truck or crane for loading and unloading vehicles. Applying defensive driving techniques, knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads to ensure the safe transit and delivery of cylinders is required. You will deliver approximately 15-20 gas cylinders per day to customers in the area, using safe cylinder manual handling techniques to deliver/collect cylinders to/from customers while adhering to strict Health & Safety operations.

  • You hold an HGV/LGV Cat C licence.
  • ADR (Class 2 in packages).
  • You have a CPC.
  • Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • A high level of personal integrity.
  • You have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes.
