Cylinder Preparation Operative

What you will enjoy doing

• You will prepare cylinders and drums in line with production schedules, ensuring products meet quality, safety and customer requirements
• You will be responsible for inspecting, testing and preparing cylinders and drums, including valve replacement, washing, drying and leak testing activities
• In this role, you will conduct statutory testing activities, assessing results and determining whether equipment meets the required standards for service
• You will safely manage the disposal of toxic, corrosive and flammable gases, selecting appropriate methods to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements
• As well as maintaining accurate technical records and documentation, you will support traceability, compliance and operational excellence across the site
• You will be responsible for routine inspections and maintenance of disposal and treatment equipment while supporting effective waste management practices

What makes you great

• Mechanical aptitude preferably to NVQ level 3 or 3 years mechanical experience.
• Appropriate communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a team.
• GCSE / Functional skills or equivalent in Maths and English.
• FLT Licence preferable.
• Work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace.
