The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
You will carry out performance evaluation on gas chromatographs in line with ISO 10723:2012, and ISO 17020 accredited inspections of the associated gas quality measurement systems, as well as calibrations and validations of other gas quality instrumentation on customers' sites across the UK, offshore, and internationally. You will analyse the collected data and other information to produce high-quality technical reports that will give the customer confidence that their instrumentation complies with required legislation and regulations.
As part of this role, you will prepare reference gas mixtures for site use, including transfer from parent cylinders to portable containers, and verification of the contents in line with the accredited technical procedures. You will assist and coordinate with Sales, Logistics and other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of the service to the customers. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring competent use of databases and documentation systems in accordance with the quality system and technical processes.

- Strong academic background with good GCSEs and/or A-levels in Mathematics and Science.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues and resolve issues and conflicts that may arise when working on customer sites.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Sound organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in planning site visits and maintaining accurate records.
- Willingness, flexibility and ability to travel extensively, stay away from home, including offshore and international assignments.
- Full UK driving licence.
