Responsibilities
- You will review, maintain and update training records and ensure that all staff are available and attend training as required
- Completing thorough driver trip debriefs and refer poor performing drivers to the transport manager is part of this role
- Manage driver’s hours & ensure legal compliance as per the Working Time Directive & Drivers hour’s rules
- Using the CDU and FTA gateway to maintain driver hour records and tachographs, including uploading vehicles and drivers within the prescribed time limits, compiling and sending tables/envelopes to the FTA for analysis
- Further you will ensure vehicles are available for scheduled maintenance & MOT, with an appropriate replacement to meet the business demand
- Carry out driving license, ADR certificate, CPC card checks at the appropriate time
- Maintain & review driving license records is required as well as enter accurate WvS data onto NTD
- Managing & review Webfleet/TomTom or its equivalent for each driver, challenge and debrief drivers as appropriate for any recorded exceptions is desired
