Responsibilities
- Youwill lead daily transport operations of Derby and Leeds depots, ensuringservice quality and compliance with safety standards for both people andequipment
- Actas the named Transport Manager for our Operator License, upholding bothinternal expectations and external regulatory standards
- Actas the Site Responsible Person, ensuring the Derby site is safely managedand maintained
- Championa proactive safety culture, aligned with our commitment to preventing allincidents, and lead inclusive risk prevention initiatives
- Lead,support, and develop teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture ofinclusion, respect, and high performance
- Managebudgets, resource planning, and productivity, using data and insights tosupport continuous improvement and equitable resource use
- Collaboratewith colleagues in Sales, Production, and Customer Service to ensuretransport operations are aligned with shared business goals
What makes you great

- Familiaritywith SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards andapproaches to managing operational risk
- Experiencemanaging budgets and performance using KPIs, with a focus on continuousimprovement and accountability
- Strongleadership and people skills, including experience building positiveworking relationships in unionised environments
- NEBOSHand ADR qualifications are desirable, and we’re committed to supportingtraining and development in these areas
- Knowledgeof industrial gases or similar sectors is a plus, but not essential
- Demonstrateintegrity and inclusive leadership, role modelling behaviours thatcontribute to a respectful, safe, and welcoming workplace
