The predicted salary is between 38000 - 45000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will play a key part in strengthening our quality culture and supporting both customers and colleagues.
  • You will be leading quality improvement initiatives that directly enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting production teams by investigating non‑conformances, identifying root causes, and helping implement practical solutions will be part of your role.
  • Additionally, you will be working closely with the site management team to improve processes, projects, and day‑to‑day activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, including reporting KPIs and analysing data to support investigations will be part of your role.
  • You will be conducting internal audits, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • You will help develop quality standards, corrective actions, and follow‑up plans.
  • Reviewing customer quality specifications and ensuring they are effectively implemented internally and representing the quality function during customer visits and communicating clearly and confidently will be part of your role.
  • You will be liaising with suppliers and external service providers to maintain high standards.
  • Providing training, coaching, and support to shop‑floor teams on quality topics will be part of your role.

Qualifications

  • You have the right to work in the UK and experience working in a quality-focused role.
  • You have experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment, including internal audit training.
  • The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings is desired.
  • Further, you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across teams and with customers.
  • You have good analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem‑solving.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience in a quality-driven environment is preferred.
  • You have good project management skills and lead auditor experience.
  • Experience in aerospace, lean activities, or human factors is desirable.
  • Familiarity with FMEA and statistical tools such as Minitab is desirable.
