The predicted salary is between 27000 - 29000 £ per year.

In this role you will metallurgically examine coatings on customer components to ascertain cause of failure or to confirm/check that new coating techniques meet the requirements expected. Further, you will be preparing laboratory reports outlining details of the examination and any conclusions reached. Ensuring that all inspection documentation is complete and that all details have been accurately recorded on outgoing certification is required in this role. Issuing the final certification of conformance prior to the dispatch of components. You will raise non-conformance reports when required. Monitoring strip line by means of chemical analysis, as well as analysing coatings using SEM and EDX will be part of this role. You will be preparing and evaluating various hardness samples.
