The predicted salary is between 28000 - 32000 £ per year.
You will visually inspect parts to ensure they are correct to the customer's drawing and identify any anomalies. Further, you will be responsible for inspecting critical and sensitive aerospace parts. Understand the inspection priorities within the department to meet production requirements and targets is required in this role. In addition, you will ensure the paperwork is correct, confirming the customer drawing and the drawing issue status is correct. Ensure process documents (OIS) are to the correct issue and the contract review has been carried out correctly. You will review the areas to be coated and calculate the thickness required using the Process Document (PD) and customer drawing. Check completed parts to customer drawing, job router and PD requirements. When required, raise NCRs (non-conformance reports), inform appropriate departments and raise endorsements on outgoing paperwork.

- You have previous experience in inspection within manufacturing, coating or aerospace industries.
- Must be able to use various pieces of measuring equipment, make mathematical calculations and evolve set ups for measuring purposes.
- Further, you must be able to prioritise work and adapt to the changing production/quality demands when required.
- Ability to withstand pressures, typical within a service industry, from other departments is needed in this role.
- Some heavy lifting might be required.
- Good vision and attention to detail are essential.
