Overview: Workshop Service Engineer to be based in our Liverpool workshop. Vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or similar.
Responsibilities: Working with a range of material handling equipment – from small pallet trucks to industrial trucks (IC, VNA, automated) – you will find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications: Experience in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or Hydraulics. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification – preferred but not essential. IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders. Full UK driving licence.
Personal Attributes: Good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A positive and can-do attitude.
