We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team in the North (Scotland) area. The geographical patch to be covered is the AB to IV postcode area.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering; Electrical engineering; Hydraulics.
- Ideally NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), although this is not essential.
- You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
- You must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Good levels of man management skills, with the ability to work in a team and promote quality customer service.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to develop the potential of staff.
- Comfortable in customer-facing situations.
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers (approximately 10–20, subject to location) and manage day-to-day operations.
- Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Undertake preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, including pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure high standards of customer service.
What you will need to have:
- Qualified maintenance engineer (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Industry know-how and good knowledge of company IT systems with the ability to provide first-level support.
- Experience in conflict management and the ability to deliver excellent service through a team of engineers.
- Qualified to conduct Thorough examinations where applicable.
