As Business Development Representative, you will be an internal salesperson responsible for generating new business opportunities through structured outbound activity, market engagement, and strategic lead development. You will leverage your commercial expertise and industry insight to identify prospective customers, qualify leads, and convert interest into a tangible pipeline.

We are looking for a sales professional who is passionate about building relationships, uncovering needs, and offering tailored solutions that drive operational efficiency for our clients. Reporting to the Sales Director, your key focus will be on new business generation, contributing to our company's growth in digital and e-commerce sales channels, and engaging in cross-selling and upselling with existing accounts. You will work closely with the STILL Direct sales team.

STILL UK offers high-quality in-house product training to maximize your selling potential. We have an established leadership and support network in place to encourage individual and company success.

Tasks and Qualifications

  • Driving new business development through outbound calling, lead generation campaigns, and proactive prospecting, following up on inbound leads via phone, chat, email, and social channels to feed the sales funnel with qualified leads.
  • Identifying and engaging target prospects/customers across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing.
  • Understanding client operations and challenges to offer relevant STILL solutions including counterbalance, warehouse trucks, and intralogistics and storage solutions.
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Developing professional proposals and quotes aligned with customer needs and commercial targets.
  • Collaborating closely with the field sales team for seamless lead handover and maintaining strong product and industry knowledge.
  • Representing the business in a consultative, solution-focused manner.
  • Tracking all activity and pipeline progress in the CRM (e.g., MXA, SAP Salesforce), ensuring it is always up to date.
  • Contributing to sales strategy, campaign planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
