Linde Material Handling is the market leader in Material Handling Equipment and part of the KION Group of companies. The UK operation of the business focuses on sales, service and rental. We are currently looking for 2 Field Service Engineers to join our team in the Birmingham/Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for contributing to the efficient, overall operation of the business covering a selection of postcodes within a specified boundary.
Main Responsibilities:- Repair and maintain Forklift trucks and any other equipment; update appropriate documentation.
- Plan routine maintenance with customers to achieve pre-planned servicing KPI target.
- Plan after service repair work.
- Ensure that appropriate feedback is given to customers and service response team regarding progress of work.
- Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork/data input into computer is completed accurately and within the stipulated timescale.
- Participate and contribute to team discussions as required.
- Attend training as advised.
- Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations within the Linde Group and on customer sites.
- The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ/SVQ level 2 qualification in engineering, or equivalent.
- They should demonstrate excellent communication skills, be reliable, approachable, and be passionate about representing the Linde brand.
- Must hold a full UK driver’s license.
