Overview
In this role you will evaluate gas chromatographs and perform ISO-aligned inspections of gas quality systems, calibrating instrumentation across UK sites and on offshore and international assignments. You will analyse data to produce high-quality reports that demonstrate regulatory compliance. You will prepare reference gas mixtures and verify contents according to technical procedures, supporting service delivery with sales and logistics. You join a safety- and quality-focused team inside a global gas leader, contributing to trustworthy, compliant instruments and processes.

Responsibilities
- Perform performance evaluations on gas chromatographs per ISO 10723:2012
- Conduct ISO 17020 accredited inspections of gas quality measurement systems
- Calibrate and validate gas quality instrumentation on customer sites UK, offshore and internationally
- Analyse data to produce technical reports for customer confidence and regulatory compliance
- Prepare reference gas mixtures and transfer between cylinders and portable containers
- Verify contents in line with accredited procedures
- Assist and coordinate with Sales, Logistics and other departments
- Maintain accurate records and use databases/documentation systems in line with quality system and processes
Key requirements
- Strong academic background with Mathematics and Science
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; manage multiple tasks
- Sound organizational skills; attention to detail
- Willingness to travel extensively; stay away including offshore and international assignments
