As a Product Designer in our Games Tribe at MrQ, you will be integral to our Tribe-based structure, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Stakeholders, and the Data Insights teamspecifically within the Games Tribe. Your role involves leveraging data-driven insights to inform design decisions around our game browsing, discovery, and presentation experiences, ensuring our solutions are user-centric and optimised for engagement. You will excel in both autonomous work and collaborative efforts, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of how players explore and interact with our game offerings.
This role is based in the UK/Malta, applicants must have the legal right to live and work in either of those locations.
What You Will Do
- Collaboration Across Teams:Work closely with your Games Tribe, including Product Manager, Engineers, Stakeholders, and particularly the Data Insights team, using analytics to drive design decisions and ensure our game discovery and presentation solutions effectively address user needs and business goals.
- End-to-End Design Leadership: Lead the entire design process, from initial research and ideation through prototyping and final execution, advocating for a seamless and engaging player journey through our game browsing interfaces.
- Design System Management: Curate and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability specifically tailored to our game discovery and browsing experiences.
- Independent and Team Work: Navigate projects with a balance of independent initiative and collaborative teamwork, adapting to the needs of each project and contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence within the Games Tribe.
- Strategic Vision Contribution: Actively propose innovative ideas and enhancements, aligning with our Product Vision to propel MrQ\βs game browsing and discovery experiences forward.
What We\βre Looking For
- A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of design principles and a data-informed approach to solving user and business challenges, particularly around discovery, browsing, and content presentation.
- At least 3 years of experience in product design, with proven expertise in UI/UX, a history of successful collaboration with data teams, and experience with launching and reviewing user tests, particularly within content browsing and discovery experiences.
- Proficiency in Figma (inc. Prototyping), Adobe Suite, Usertesting.com.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex design concepts clearly and collaborating effectively across disciplines.
- An adaptable and resourceful mindset, comfortable working both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Experience in developing and applying design systems within a dynamic, Agile environment.
