Compliance Officer in London

We're looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Risk and Compliance team in a fast-paced online gambling business. You'll work closely with Marketing and Operational teams to provide practical, solutions-focused compliance support, helping the business deliver campaigns, promotions and player experiences in a compliant and responsible way. The role also covers data protection and wider compliance operations.

We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, can-do approach, who can take a pragmatic and balanced view of compliance, applying appropriate guardrails while supporting the business to achieve its commercial and operational objectives.

• Reviewing and approving marketing materials for regulatory compliance, including social, affiliate, sponsorship, CRM and influencer/talent content.
• Reviewing promotional mechanics, T&Cs and promotional copy against regulatory and consumer protection requirements.
• Supporting operational teams with day-to-day compliance queries and escalations, helping find practical and proportionate solutions.
• Supporting compliance reviews and sign-off processes across marketing and operational initiatives.
• Assisting with wider compliance and risk initiatives including governance processes, policy maintenance and compliance monitoring activities.
• Supporting data protection processes where required, including DSARs, DPIAs and general GDPR administration.
• Supporting the compliance training framework, including training records, onboarding and awareness activities.
• Contributing to the wider day-to-day operations of the Risk and Compliance team and undertaking other duties as reasonably required.

• 2+ years experience in a compliance or regulatory role, ideally within gambling or a wider regulated industry. Previous marketing compliance experience is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of UK gambling regulation and/or advertising compliance requirements, including CAP/ASA Codes.
• Ability to take a pragmatic and balanced approach to compliance, helping teams navigate risk while supporting business objectives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical and proportionate advice.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Proactive, collaborative and positive, with a willingness to take ownership and develop in the role.
