Your Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment across our manufacturing facilities.

You will provide engineering support through preventive and corrective maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams, you will help maximise equipment uptime, improve operational efficiency, drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumaticand hydraulic faults.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Modify, testand optimiseequipment and control systems.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintainaccuratemaintenance records and CMMS documentation.
  • Ensure spare parts usage is recorded accurately.
  • Maintainhigh standards of housekeeping and safety.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • As an Engineer with multi-disciplinary focus, you offer deep expertise in electrical systems (60%) paired with a strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering (40%).
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate with CMMS experience.
  • Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship (desirable) Or Qualified by experience
  • Automation, robotics or PLC experience (desirable)
