Your mission at LINDAL: In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, changes to and repair of plastic injection mould tools. Operating toolroom machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and assembling tooling. Attend breakdowns, identify faults and problem solve issues and address with minimal downtime to aid production. Estimate length of time required to complete a job. Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard while adhering to company policies. Ensure company targets are met in respect of H&S, quality and efficiency. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on mould tools. Carry out scheduled tool version changes. Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
Your profile: The Toolroom Technician should have knowledge of mechanical assembly, close tolerance work, measurement and the build process of injection moulding tools. Uses a methodical approach with a high attention to detail. Understanding of service scheduling, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes. Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, planning and prioritising activities. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff. Ability to multi-task.
Desirable: CNC, CAD/CAM experience, Experience with Microsoft applications.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Time management skills, analytical skills, ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external sources, ability to remain calm in stressful situations, able to meet multiple deadlines, self-motivation.

We are looking to extend our toolroom operations from 07:00 – 18:00. Start and finishing times will differ according to business needs.
