We're looking for a results-driven and customerâfocused individual to join our team as a Residential Business Development Manager, responsible for developing, maximising, and maintaining sales of Lindab's complete range of Residential Ventilation products. You'll play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, delivering expert technical support, and promoting solutions that align with current building regulations. Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow residential ventilation sales: Manage and increase sales of Lindab's Residential Ventilation product range within your allocated region, achieving agreed targets through proactive business development.
- Conduct technical "takeâoffs" and product specifications: Interpret client drawings and prepare accurate component lists to meet residential ventilation requirements, including adapting existing designs to incorporate Lindab solutions without altering performance criteria.
- Provide specialist technical support: Support customers by offering guidance on product selection, MVHR/MEV systems, system design, and compliance with current building regulations. Participate in site surveys and joint visits where required.
- Deliver CPD and product presentations: Conduct CPD sessions and deliver technical presentations to individuals or groups to promote the application and compliance of Lindab Residential solutions.
- Utilise Vecta for account management: Use Vecta to plan visits, manage time effectively, log customer interactions, track opportunities, and maintain accurate customer and contact data.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity: Maintain strong awareness of market trends, customer activity, and competitor behaviour within your region, reporting key insights to your line manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or business development: Track record of achieving targets in a customerâfacing field sales role, preferably in ventilation, building services, or construction.
- Technical aptitude: Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, understand ventilation system design, and explain product solutions confidently.
- Commercial awareness: Strong ability to identify opportunities, promote solutions, and build longâterm customer relationships.
- Organised and selfâmotivated: Excellent time management and territory planning skills, with the ability to use Vecta and other tools to schedule effective call plans and manage data.
- Strong communicator: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.
- IT literate: Confident using CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools to manage sales activities.
