We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as Production and Health & Safety Lead. In this role, you will manage health and safety compliance, oversee delivery and quality processes, and support production operations. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining ISO standards. Key Responsibilities
- Promote and manage health and safety practices daily, including maintaining records and compliance.
- Represent the company at Group Health & Safety meetings and manage Near Miss Incident reporting.
- Oversee delivery and quality processes, including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and transport compliance.
- Ensure ISO 9001:2015 and 14001 systems are maintained and updated.
- Liaise with production and sales teams to meet customer requirements.
- Assist the Production Manager with operational tasks, including supplier liaison for repairs and waste removal.
Qualifications & Experience
- Health and Safety awareness (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
- Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Full UK Driver's Licence.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift licence (desirable).
- Experience in the ventilation industry (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and transport processes.
