Hours: Monday β Thursday, 06:00pm β 15:00pm and Friday 06:00am β 14:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch
We're on the lookout for a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a 3.5T Delivery Driver & support the Warehouse Team when youβre back in the branch. This role is a blend of driving and hands-on warehouse duties, perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday.
Key responsibilities:
- Multi-Drop Deliveries: Execute up to 9 deliveries per day using a 3.5-tonne vehicle across Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
- Vehicle Management: Ensure timely loading and unloading of the van, maintaining cleanliness and performing routine checks.
- Delivery System Usage: Utilise a mobile phone-based delivery system to manage routes and customer interactions.
- Warehouse Support: Assist in warehouse operations, including picking and packing.
Requirements:
- Driving Experience: Proven experience driving large vans, with multi-drop experience.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile devices for delivery management.
- Team Player: Willingness to support warehouse operations and collaborate with team members.
