Would you like to develop your skills in logistics and have a passion for delivering excellent service on the road and in the warehouse? Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, with early finish on Fridays 8am - 4pm.
Take on the role as Delivery Driver & Relief Warehouse Operative and report to our Branch Manager. Your primary tasks will be:
- You will carry out multi‑drop deliveries—up to 9 per day—using a 3.5 tonne sprinter, ensuring safe, timely, and customer‑focused service.
- You will manage your vehicle by loading and unloading efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and completing routine safety checks.
- You will use a mobile‑based delivery system to follow routes, record deliveries, and communicate with customers professionally.
- When back at the branch, you will support warehouse operations including accurate picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch or collection.
- You will contribute to smooth warehouse workflows by assisting colleagues when back in the branch, keeping your workspace tidy, and following all Health & Safety procedures.
The successful candidate will primarily be delivering customers' orders as required; however, the successful candidate will also be required to work in the Warehouse as a Warehouse Operative as and when requested to do so, and this will include pre/post driving duties.

You have an excellent understanding of multi‑drop delivery processes and safe vehicle operation. You have experience of driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle and working in a physically demanding, hands‑on environment. It’s an advantage if you have worked with warehouse systems, mobile delivery apps, or order‑picking operations. As a person, you are adaptable and enjoy switching between driving and warehouse duties. You are also customer‑focused, ensuring every delivery leaves a positive impression. In your way of working, you are reliable, safety‑conscious, and organised, always maintaining a clean vehicle and workspace.
