About the Role
Our client, based in Walkden, is seeking a reliable and organised individual to provide Temporary Administration cover for a maternity absence every Friday. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently and commit to 1 day per week to cover the 12 month maternity contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and managing incoming phone calls.
- Booking hotels for service engineers as required.
- Liaising with service engineers to coordinate schedules and information.
- Drafting letters and correspondence using Microsoft Word.
- Inputting and maintaining data in Excel spreadsheets.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Additional Information
Hours of work: 8.30am β 4.30pm with 30 mins lunch.
