An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support one of its divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, process orders and handle enquiries
  • Liaise with customers, manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure timely product delivery
  • Maintain high standards of customer care
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Work closely with Credit Control to ensure customer accounts remain up to date
  • Build and develop relationships with new and existing customers by telephone
  • Process customer claims
  • Support the wider sales strategy
  • General sales administration duties

The Candidate

  • A good standard of education and be fully IT literate
  • Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner
  • You will be organised, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • Confidence in supporting customers and an external sales team is essential, along with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Experience within the construction or manufacturing sector would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.
  • Attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are valued more highly than specific qualifications.
