An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Coordinator to join a growing and collaborative professional services organisation based in Manchester. This is a varied and people-focused role supporting the smooth running of business operations across multiple teams and locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating operational activities, supporting internal systems and processes, liaising with suppliers and external partners and assisting with ongoing improvement projects. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills and takes pride in delivering high-quality admin support. Hybrid working is offered following the successful completion of the probationary period, with a working pattern of 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating operational improvement initiatives and tracking actions
- Supporting records management for risk, compliance, and supplier certifications
- Assisting with systems administration and internal learning processes
- Supporting supplier renewal and certification processes while maintaining accurate records
- Maintaining and improving operational procedures and documentation
- Coordinating IT-related activities including equipment, onboarding/offboarding processes, and supplier liaison
- Providing general operational and administrative support across the business
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within an administration, coordination or operations support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and learning new systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
- An interest in business operations and continuous improvement
