Customer Services Representative – Irlam
We are currently recruiting for two Customer Services Representatives to join a well-established and growing logistics business based in Irlam, Manchester.
Working as part of an established customer service team, you will act as the key link between customers, the transport/traffic team and delivery partners. You will be responsible for keeping customers informed, resolving issues and ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous logistics, transport or customer service experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Liaising with customers and delivery partners regarding service issues and keeping customers updated
- Tracking deliveries and resolving delays, damages and failed collections
- Working closely with the transport/traffic team and delivery partners to resolve issues
- Managing customer claims through to resolution
- Checking and querying carrier invoices and liaising with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
- Processing and scanning documents accurately and within required deadlines
- Producing regular reports
- Entering and retrieving information from internal systems while maintaining accurate customer records
- Supporting other departments when required
