About the Role
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with Optical accounts and distribution partners in targeted international markets. This role requires a dynamic, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the luxury commercial landscape. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and long-term partnerships in key regions.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with international accounts, agents and distributors, ensuring consistent brand representation and sales performance.
- Market Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in targeted international markets.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop tailored go-to-market strategies per region, set and deliver sales targets, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure profitability.
- Distributor Support: Provide strategic guidance, sales tools, training, and marketing support to distributors to help drive growth and optimize brand visibility.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, provide accurate forecasts, and report on KPIs to senior management.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure that partners uphold brand standards in merchandising, pricing, and customer experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations to align market needs with company capabilities.
- Travel: Frequent international travel to attend trade shows, build relationships via partner meetings, and store visits, training and essential client support.
- Budget: Ensure that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets.
