Service & Parts Specialist, Harley-Davidson Newmarket
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Service & Parts Specialist to join our already highly successful team at Harley-Davidson Newmarket.
This is an ideal role for someone wishing to continue developing their career with the support of an experienced team, manufacturer training, and an award-winning dealership.
Standard customer service is not enough here at Harley-Davidson and we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated with outstanding customer service who can actively promote and endorse the high standards of Harley-Davidson at all times.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Assist in the running of a busy Service Department and assist with Parts and Merchandise
- Providing the workshop Technicians with parts when required
- Producing quotes for the Sales Department
- Inventory checks workshop pre picking
- Maintaining and building close relationships with new and existing customers
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Parts & Accessories and availability
- Create a memorable experience for the customer from enquiry through to completion of the work on their vehicle.
- Ensure that daily budgets are met
- Achieving targets for hours sold
The successful candidate will have
- Have an interest in Motorcycles
- Have previous experience working in a similar role
- Have a desire to be close to our Customers (we ride too, and we regularly attend events, social meetings and rallies)
- Be a team player and foster strong inter-departmental relationships
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be self-motivated, ambitious, professional and forward thinking
- Be focused on achieving goals
- Have the ability to work within a defined process
• Have a desire to have fun!
- Previous experience within the motorcycle /automotive trade
- Good mechanical knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles
- Experience with using automotive systems such as Kerridge
- A full A Category Motorcycle Licence
