A vacancy has become available for an admin receptionist at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park. Join this ever-growing charity in delivering high standards of customer service, as well as assisting the existing admin team. This exciting position will enable the candidate to meet visitors to the park, answer queries, assist with bookings and work as part of the administration team.
Hours of work: Fridays and Saturdays weekly – may change for annual leave cover.
Rate of pay: National Living Wage
What is involved?
We are The Parrot Zoo Trust, a registered charity for the rehoming and rehabilitation of parrots and animals. As a part of our charity, we are a visitor attraction to provide an enriching and educational day out to people of all ages and walks of life. The admin team is an integral part of welcoming visitors, assisting with queries and bookings, as well as the productivity and storage of data. The candidate will have a main focus of customer service at the reception kiosk, answering the phone and emails, as well as additional administration tasks to maintain high standards of efficiency.
What is expected of you?
We are looking for a candidate that is confident working within a team and speaking with the general public. The candidate should have a positive working attitude. A background working in an administrative environment or the public sector is preferred, but all candidates will be considered. The candidate may be asked to be involved in our public events at the park and an array of admin tasks around the office. They will be expected to maintain a neat and hygienic working environment. Due to our rural location, the candidate will be expected to have suitable and reliable travel arrangements to and from work and/or a full driving license.
