We are seeking a motivated and detail‑focused professional to join our Continuous Improvement Unit. In this varied role, you’ll support key organisational processes including external inspections, risk management, strategic planning, business cases and continuous improvement activity. You will contribute to ensuring the force operates efficiently, ethically and in line with best practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading or assisting with independent reviews of business activities using appropriate methodologies.
  • Producing clear, accurate reports with recommendations to enhance service delivery.
  • Supporting risk management processes, including maintaining the strategic risk register and advising risk managers.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress against Strategic Plans.
  • Organising corporate events, such as Planning Days, and ensuring their smooth delivery.
  • Supporting the Force Business Case process and Business Case Panel administration.
  • Assisting with the Force Management Statement to inform the annual planning cycle.
  • Co‑ordinating external inspections and tracking progress against previous recommendations.
  • Leading on specific pieces of work within the Continuous Improvement Unit.
  • Conducting research and completing general administrative duties, including meeting minutes.
  • Representing the force at meetings and training, and building positive working relationships across internal and external partners.
