The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance (LNAA) is undergoing a period of significant growth and development and is looking for exceptional individuals to join our clinical team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our clinical team, and we are looking to recruit to the post of Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Specialist Paramedic (Critical Care). Capable of delivering the optimal clinical response for our patients and providing the highest level of emergency critical care to the ill and injured patients of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Candidates should be enthusiastic and experienced clinicians, focused on holistically developing themselves and the service in operational, clinical, and academic areas. Candidates will need to possess a strong ethos of teamwork and discipline to function successfully as part of our current paramedic team, forming part of a paramedic doctor team, with a view to delivering safe, effective care whilst ensuring knowledge of local and National guidelines, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Candidates must be a UK HCPC registered Paramedic with extensive experience within a frontline prehospital emergency operational environment. The candidate should be able to evidence continuous professional development and demonstrate a good understanding of both technical and non-technical skills in healthcare environments. On a day-to-day basis the role will report into the Clinical Operations Manager, with direction and guidance of the Senior HEMS Paramedic, and wider clinical and operational leadership team, in supporting the delivery of LNAA key strategic objectives.

Candidates will undergo a three-stage recruitment process. Only candidates successful at each stage will progress forward to the next stage. Timings will be confirmed on completion of shortlisting.

Annual Leave of 25 days, which increases by 1 additional day per completed year of service up to a maximum of 30 days, in addition to bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff). Additional days leave for your birthday.

Pension scheme includes 6% employer contributions, with 4% employee contribution. Access to a Health & Wellbeing Care Plan. Occupational Sick Pay Scheme. Life insurance at 3 times your annual salary on completion of probationary period.
