Overview

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) provides lifesaving critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations. If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.

Recently rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission across all five areas that were inspected – Safe, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well led, we are a friendly, inclusive, and dynamic team focused on ensuring we deliver the best possible service. About the Role

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Charity Shop in Lincoln.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join us as to help run our store, engage with the community, and raise vital funds.

This role is a permanent contract for 15 hours a week including weekends. 15 hours a week would be considered for the right candidate.

To successfully assist the Management team to provide a high quality of retail service in relation to agreed performance targets, generating maximum profits through the sale of donated goods and the effective coordination of the volunteer team, raising awareness of LNAA and building engagement in the local community.

To hold the shop in the Manager’s absence, undertaking all appropriate duties to ensure the continued operation of the shop, including responsibility for Health & Safety and financial procedures as directed.

This role is critical to the efficient running of our Shop and will need to be results driven, well organised, hands on and have the passion and skills and previous experience to motivate and empower a team of volunteers to maximise the efficient operation of our shop.

  • Annual Leave of 25 days, which increases by 1 additional day per completed year of service up to a maximum of 30 days. in addition to bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
