As a Pharmacy Services Assistant, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients. There is a wide range of duties for you to be involved in, such as:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations.
  • Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes.
  • Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions.
  • Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions.

It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for people with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in joining our team, you’ll need to show us:

  • A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.

  • Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
