Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers. As the largest Co-operative Pharmacy group, our pharmacies offer so much more than just exceptional customer service! From prescriptions and flu vaccines to podiatry, we’re passionate about looking after the health needs of our patients. The successful candidate will be required to work every other Saturday, with pharmacy opening hours of 9:00am to 12:00pm.
As a Health Champion, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients. There is a wide range of duties for you to be involved in, such as:
- Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations.
- Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
- Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes.
- Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions.
It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for people with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in joining our team, you’ll need to show us:
- A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.
- An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients.
- An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences.
- A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you.
- Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
