As a Gadsbys Hygiene Assistant you’ll be joining a team at the heart of the bakery, working closely together across the site to ensure all hygiene standards are maintained to a high standard. You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the completion of hygiene schedules
  • Complying with all health and safety requirements across the society as well as adhering to policies and procedures
  • Undertaking any lawful and reasonable duties reasonably requested by the society
  • Ensuring production lines are clean and disinfected to a high standard
  • Responsible for waste collection and disposal

About You

A Level 2 Food Safety qualification or equivalent is desirable as well as experience of working within a food production environment. However, it’s your personality, skills, motivation, and values that matter the most to us. You’ll need to demonstrate:

  • An understanding and appreciation for hygiene standards.
  • The ability to work in an organised manner, keen to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
