Want to gain experience at one of the UK’s finest National Nature Reserves? We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about natural history and are looking to start a career in nature conservation.

You will be working with our Nature Reserve Management Team and supporting the Warden, Assistant Warden and Shorebird Warden. Work includes habitat management on a heavily designated site, species protection and recording, public engagement, supervision of other volunteers, estate work and livestock management.

Training will be provided to develop your skills and prepare you for employment within the nature conservation sector.

On-site self-contained accommodation (single occupancy) is provided.

There is the option to take up part-time paid work at our visitor centre, to provide financial support during your volunteering.
