Risk Management Officer

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join the MOSOVO team as a Risk Management Officer (RMO). As an RMO you will be managing a caseload of registered sex offenders who reside in Lincolnshire, with the current vacancy being on the East Coast of Lincolnshire and based in Skegness. You will ideally have experience of working in a reactive environment with high caseloads, demonstrable ability to prioritise workload and demand on a daily basis, and experience working within a multi‑agency environment. Interviewing skills and previous experience of working within offender management and the criminal justice system would also be an advantage, as would a sound knowledge around digital devices and how to interrogate them.
The work is intense, and not for the faint-hearted. You will be required to spend considerable amounts of time primarily conducting visits to the homes of registered sex offenders to gain an in depth understanding of the offender and all aspects of their life, including having conversations about their offending and their sexual predilections, some of which may be extreme and upsetting. You will be required to formulate comprehensive risk management plans, work with partner agencies and be prepared to challenge sex offenders on their adherence to notification requirements and civil orders, taking the appropriate steps should you discover any breaches or further offending.
