Eligibility

  • Age – You must be over 17 years old at the time of your application.
  • Residency – You\’ll need to have resided in the UK continuously for the past three years.
  • Nationality – You can be of any nationality to apply, providing you have the status of indefinite leave to remain and work in the UK.
  • Academic qualifications – You must hold at least one UK Level 3 Qualification in any subject, or an overseas equivalent. You must also have, or be predicted to achieve, a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree from a university in the UK, or an equivalent from a non‑UK university.
  • Driving licence – You must have passed your driving test and hold a full licence prior to a conditional offer being made.

If so, you may be eligible to join a Police Now award‑winning two‑year national graduate programme. This is a unique opportunity to join the police through one of our Times Top 100 graduate employment schemes, which offers support, mentorship, and personal career development opportunities throughout the two‑year programme.

About Lincolnshire Police

Lincolnshire Police covers a large area and with a little over 1200 FTE Officers, the challenge of rural policing relies on the support of local communities to maintain some of the safest parts of the country.

Lincolnshire Police officers are dedicated to the diverse needs of their communities and the variety of challenges from working in inner‑City Lincoln, the rural nature of Spalding, seasonal visitors to Skegness, travelling criminals accessing the country via the A1 at Stamford or Grantham as well as working with communities to protect vulnerable people from harm.

We have recruited 143 police officers across East Midlands and the East of England to date. Through our partnership with Lincolnshire Police and neighbouring forces in the East, we have recruited, trained and developed 143 graduates to become police officers on our national graduate programmes.
