We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Practice Nurse to join our team at Gosberton Medical Centre. Situated in tranquil South Lincolnshire, our dispensing GMS practice maintains a decade-long 100% QOF achievement, as well as a Good rating in CQC and a 5-Star QEWS award. Job Specification
- Hours: Negotiable (Full Time and Part Time considered)
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience working in a general practice setting
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and in good standing
- Demonstrable experience and competence in the management of Type 2 Diabetes
- Proficient in adult and childhood immunisations
- Competent in cervical smear taking
- Skilled in wound care and dressing management
- Ability to undertake contraceptive pill reviews
- Competent in administration of Depo Provera injections
- Able to administer a range of therapeutic injections
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience managing additional chronic conditions
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300) β desirable but not essential
- Experience with travel vaccinations
- Phlebotomy skills β highly desirable
- ECG recording and basic interpretation β highly desirable
