The Suttons Medical Group are a large practice based in Long Sutton with a branch site at Sutton Bridge, serving over 16,000 patients. Suttons Medical Practice has 3 Partners, supported by Salaried and Locum GPs and a large team of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Job Summary
As a dispenser, you will be responsible for the processing of prescriptions in accordance with Practice policies and legislation. The post holder will be required to order and manage the dispensary stock and project a professional, positive, and friendly image to work colleagues, patients, and other visitors, dealing with queries in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. You will work mostly at the Long Sutton Surgery with the flexibility to work at our branch site at Sutton Bridge from time to time. The postholder will need to be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness when required.
Requirements of the post holder must be:
- Experience in working with EMIS preferably.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
