Brayford Medical Practice is a well-established city practice with an experienced and supportive clinical team caring for approximately 11,000 patients. We are looking for a salaried GP to join us on a permanent basis, with flexibility around 6–8 sessions per week.

We place strong emphasis on sustainable workload, clinical autonomy, supportive team working, and long-term professional wellbeing. We believe good general practice depends on clinicians feeling respected, supported, and able to work in a way that is sustainable over time.

The role

  • 6–8 sessions per week (agreed and protected)
  • Protected session structure with a focus on safe, sustainable clinical workload
  • Shared duty system with clearly defined frequency and senior support available when needed
  • Minimal home visiting, supported by the wider team
  • Admin time built into sessions
  • Opportunities to develop clinical interests over time, if desired

Support and team

  • Stable and experienced clinical team with a collaborative and approachable working culture
  • Regular day-to-day clinical discussion and informal peer support
  • Strong MDT including ANPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacy team, and experienced administrative staff
  • Efficient use of SystmOne and digital tools to reduce administrative burden
  • Supportive leadership with an open and approachable management team
