We're looking for a skilled Electrician on a 12 month contract to join our electrical team. You’ll be working on our vacant properties, ensuring they’re swiftly and effectively prepared for new customers. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and introducing creative solutions that enhance the everyday experience for our customers.

Contract: 12-month Fixed Term
Hours: 40 hours per week
This is what a typical week would look like: As an Electrician, you will install, service and maintain electrical systems and equipment in domestic properties to a high-quality standard in accordance with the most current edition of Wiring Regulations and Lincolnshire Housing Partnerships (LHP) policies and procedures. You’ll work within a team, carrying out repairs on domestic and commercial properties; the majority of these will be empty homes, getting these properties ready for new customers moving in. You'll also be asked to complete cyclical inspection and testing, and remedial works to LHP properties in accordance with IET wiring regulations, Electrical best practice guides and LHP protocol documents. You'll also be added to the call out rota, where you can earn extra money for being available for electrical emergencies. This will be discussed during the interview process. After 12 months, we hope you’ll have demonstrated your skills and value, putting you in a strong position to apply for a permanent role with us.
This is what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Electrician within a Domestic electrical installation environment relevant to this role.
- Full UK driving license.
- NVQ level 3 or any recognized equivalents.
- Able to use appropriate test and measuring equipment on single and three phase supply.
- Computer literate.
- 2391-52 or 2391-51 qualification desirable but not essential.
