Join to apply for the role at Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust. Teaching Assistant – Scartho Gateway Academy. 32.5 hours per week, term time (195 days). The Academy opened in September 2025, currently with 90 children on roll and will expand to 210 mainstream pupils from Reception to Year 6. It also runs a Resource Specialist Provision (RSP) for up to 12 children with identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The role is for a teaching assistant who will work closely with the class teacher and the SENDCO, collaborating with staff across the Academy to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils, including those accessing the RSP. You should demonstrate a strong desire to help every child develop skills and confidence, use adaptive and personalised teaching strategies, hold ambitious expectations for all students (including those with additional and special educational needs and disabilities), and champion a trauma‑informed, relational learning culture. Experience working with children across key stages and a commitment to inclusivity are essential.
