An internal opportunity has arisen for a Head of Year. This post is being advertised internally to the whole Trust. In order to continue the recent rapid success in behaviour and standards, the role of the Head of Year is vital in maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. A desire to work in improving the outlook of students is vital as well as maintaining transparent records of improvement.
The Head of Year will lead the weekly assembly, manage a team of tutors and have a responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of detentions. Working with outside agencies will be crucial, as will the transition between year groups and the use of data to ensure all students in the year group are making progress.
