Overview
We are looking to appoint an excellent Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team. Working under the guidance of subject leaders, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during short-term absences of teaching staff.
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout the period.
- Support students in completing pre-prepared work while teachers are absent.
- Maintain a productive classroom environment.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary ranges:
- Annual Salary: LGAT 8 – £27,675.00 pro rata – LGAT 12 – £30,788.00 pro rata.
- Actual Salary: LGAT 8 – £20,783.93 – LGAT 12 – £23,121.79.
Work hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 inset days (195 days).
Qualifications
Applicants must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Additional pre‑employment checks include online/social media checks, satisfactory references and any other appropriate checks necessary to assess suitability to work with children.
