Louth Academy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with senior staff, you will deliver a wide range of administrative and organisational support, including managing communications with pupils, parents and external agencies, maintaining accurate records, and producing reports. You will play a key role in coordinating meetings, supporting school events, monitoring attendance, and contributing to the development of efficient administrative systems.
The role also involves overseeing routine processes such as forms, returns, and personnel administration, while providing guidance to junior administrative staff where required. This is a varied and fast-paced position suited to someone with strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reception duties
- Student Office Attendance
- General clerical and administrative work
- General typing
- Work effectively with the Academy management systems
- Prepares routine correspondence
- Distribution of mail
- Reprographics
- Covers duties of other administration staff in their absence
- Other reasonable duties as notified by the Senior Academy Administrator
Refer to the Intranet on all administrative procedures. Liaise with the Principal and Senior Academy Administrator regarding procedures on the Intranet. Liaise with the Senior Academy Administrator regarding any training requirements.
