Louth Academy Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term until 31 May 2027 - Maternity Cover (28 hours per week)

Salary: LGAT 5 £25,550 pro rata - Actual Salary: £16,403.10

Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Teaching Assistant to join our academy.

Responsibilities
  • To assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum.
  • To work under the direction of the teacher in a class based environment using teaching aides and other methods of support.
  • To help support and promote the Academy behaviour policy.
Requirements
  • Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life.
  • Have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
