Breakfast Club, After School Provision and Midday Supervisor for Scartho Gateway Academy and Waltham Gateway Academy. Two new schools in North East Lincolnshire will provide fantastic opportunities for support staff, interested in contributing significantly to the wider general provision we are offering our children. These roles include leading and assisting our wraparound care, which consists of a breakfast club and after school provision and a midday supervisor role. Please note, there are opportunities to combine some of these roles.
Scartho and Waltham Gateway Academies, opening in September 2025, will eventually provide for up to 210 mainstream pupils, from Reception to Year 6. They will also include an RSP, catering for up to 12 children from across North East Lincolnshire who have identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are looking for staff to join our new and exciting team of leaders, teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring our new children receive a fantastic all-round education.
The successful candidates will hold ambitious expectations for all students, including those with additional and special educational needs and disabilities and share our culture where all staff contribute to the development of our children. During the first year, both schools will offer 15 places for children in reception; up to 30 places for a mixed 1/2 class; up to 30 places for a mixed 3/4 class and 6 places in the RSP. The schools will then expand, at an agreed rate with the local authority, every year.
Our ethos is one of an uncompromising drive to achieve the highest standards of outcomes and behaviour in a safe environment, through a relational approach, which encourages every student to experience an exciting and creative climate for learning. We place a strong emphasis upon pastoral care and successful candidates will share the determination to offer the very best to our students so that they can thrive personally and academically.
The roles will start in September 2025. A full package of on-going CPD is in place to support our staff team as part of the whole school approach. This will include regular supervision.
Please visit our websites Scartho Gateway Academy and Waltham Gateway Academy for details about the new academies. Please note, at this stage, it has not been decided which academy the successful candidates will be assigned to in September 2025. This will be discussed at interview.
