We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing targeted support for a visually impaired student within the classroom. In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff to ensure the student can fully access the curriculum. A key part of your responsibilities will include preparing and adapting learning materials into accessible formats, such as braille, large print, and other appropriate resources, enabling the student to engage confidently in lessons. You will support the student both academically and pastorally, promoting independence, inclusion, and participation in all aspects of school life. In addition, you may work with other students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting a range of additional needs. Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach are essential.
